327 was formerly Chesapeake & Ohio 90327.
999257 was built by Atchison Topeka & Santa Fe in 1942 as 2196, Class Ce-1. It was rebuilt in 1968 as 99257, Class Ce-1 and sold as CSS&SB 999257.
1054-1067 were cabooses built by the South Shore. Those steps look like grand staircases.
1100 is the ultimate line car. It was built by St. Louis Car in 1926 as combine 376 for the Indiana Service Corp. It became Indiana RR 376 in 1930 and was rebuilt with an RPO compartment in 1935. After abandonment of the IRR, this car, along with 375 and 377 came to the South Shore. The other 2 cars were built into baggage trailers, but the 376 waited until 1947 to be rebuilt into the 1100. It was retired in 2003 and bought by Line Car Preservationship in 2004. It was purchased by Illinoix Railway Museum in 2010.
1101 was built by Niles Car in 1908 as CLS&SB 72. In 1927 it was rebuilt and renumbered. It was scrapped in 1947 when it was replaced by the 1100.
1126 was a work motor built by Niles in 1908 as CLS&SB 73. In 1927 it was rebuilt into work motor 1126. In 1941 it was sold and converted to a house. In 1994 it was purchased for restoration from a buyer who had picked it up the month before for back taxes. He really did not want the car, just the land. Bob Harris began restoration in 2005 and plans to complete it in 2009.
1134 was a wire car built in 1916.
1171 was a spreader built by Jordan in 1931.
1174 was a box car built in 1916.
