813 "Silver Palace" was built by Budd Car Co in May 1948. It was sold to Auto Train Corp as 462 in June 1970 and sold to Ed Braun in December 1981. It was sold Al Becker in 1983 and sold to Kasten Railcar in 1984. It was leased to Merle Haggard in 1985 and repossessed back in 1986. It was sold to Vista Rail Inc as 800273 in 1988 and leased to Branson Scenic RR between 1993 and 1994. It was leased to White River Scenic RR as "Calico Rock" between 1997 and 1998. Leased to RailCruise America in 1998 and became Wisconsin Central 800273 "Spirit of Superior" in October 1998. It became Algoma Central 800273 "Spirit of Superior".
1543 is preserved at Strasburg RR in Pennsylvania.
