Electro-Motive GP30 Diesels
701, Class GP30, was built in February 1963, #28161, FN 7648-2. It was retired on July 29, 1989. It was leased to Mineral Wells & Eastern as 701 in October 1989 and was sold as MW&E 701 in February 1990. It was sold in March 1992 as Acadiana Ry 701.
702, Class GP30, was built in February 1963, #28162, FN 7648-3. It was retired on February 2, 1987, and sold to National Railway Equipment on January 8, 1988. It was sold to Soo Line in August 1988 but never used. It was sold to National Railway Equipment in 1992.
705, Class GP30, was built in February 1963, #28165, FN 7648-6. It was retired in May 1985 and sold to Southwest Railroad Car Parts on April 2, 1987. It was sold for parts to Soo Line in August 1988.
712, Class GP30, was built in February 1963, #28192, FN 7648-13. It was retired in July 1982 and sold for scrap to Erman Corp in March 1983.
724B was built in June 1963, #28239. It was retired in September 1983 and sold for scrap to St Louis Auto Shredding in September 1986.
726, Class GP30, was built in March 1963, #28206, FN 7648-27. It was retired on August 17, 1988, and sold to Morrison Knudsen in November 1988. It was rebuilt as Burlington Northern 2807, Class GP-39M, on March 10, 1989, and became Burlington Northern Santa Fe 2807, Class GP-39M, in May 2001.
728, Class GP30, was built in March 1963, #28208, FN 7648-29. It was retired on March 15, 1984, and sold for scrap to Erman Corp in January 1985.
805, Class GP30, was built in July 1962, #27514, FN 5643-6. It was retired on January 10, 1987 and sold to National Railway Equipment on January 8, 1988. It was sold to Soo Line RR in August 1988 and was rebuilt by Generation II completed on November 5, 1990, with a Caterpillar engine as 4302, GP30C. It was returned to Generation II in 1999 and sold as Twin Cities & Western 4302.
815, Class GP30, was built in July 1962, #27524, FN 5643-16. It was retired in May 1982 and sold to Bargains Galore in May 1982. It was scrapped by Joseph Simon & Sons in July 1982.
827, Class GP30, was built in August 1962, #27536, FN 5643-28. It was retired on March 8, 1988, and sold to Helm Leasing. It was resold to Morrison Knudsen in May 1988 and rebuilt on November 11, 1988, as BN 2801, Class GP-39M. It was assigned BNSF 2801 and stored on January 11, 2001. It became BNSF 2801, Class GP30M, and became Class GP-39R.
850, Class GP30, was built in September 1962, #27559, FN 5643-51. It was retired in July 1985 and sold for scrap to Erman Corp in September 1985.
858, Class GP30, was built in August 1962, #27567, FN 5643-59. It was retired on March 15, 1984, and sold for scrap to Erman Corp in January 1985.
866, Class GP30, was built in September 1962, #27575, FN 5643-67. It was retired in May 1985 and sold to National Railway Equipment on January 8, 1988. It was sold to Soo Line in August 1988 and stored. It was sold for scrap to I Bork & Son in 1981.
868, Class GP30, was built in September 1962, #27577, FN 5643-69. It was retired on January 10, 1987, and sold for scrap to Southwest Railroad Car Parts on April 23, 1987.
873, Class GP30, was built in September 1962, #27582, FN 5643-74. It was retired on January 10, 1987, and sold for scrap to Pielet Brothers on June 26, 1987.
875, Class GP30, was built in July 1961, #26613, FN 5629-1, as General Motors Corp 5629, GP22. It was rebuilt in October 1961 as 5629, GP30, and later renumbered 1962. It was sold as UP 875 in September 1962. It was retired in October 1982 and sold for scrap to Erman Corp in October 1983.
