Altair was on a branch from T&NO.
Alpine was on the Sunset Route and is now a Union Pacific line.
Burke was a Houston East & West RR station.
Cleveland was a joint station with Atchicson Topeka & Santa Fe.
Tower 16, Denison, controlled the crossings of the Texas & Pacific, Frisco, and Southern Pacific. It was an SP tower which was turned over to the Burlington Northern when the line from Denison to South Sherman Jct was sold to the BN in 1993. It was closed on October 23, 2001, and the tower has been moved to Grapevine, TX, for preservation.
Giddings was the crossing from Austin to Houston and from Coriscana to Victoria. The Houston-Giddings was abandoned and the Gidding-Austin was sold to Austin. It became Austin & North Western and then Longhorn RR and then Austin Area Terminal RR. There is an older station, newer station, and a freight house.
