Non-Revenue Equipment
1702 was built by Danville Ry & Light Co in 1903 as 1507, a pull car. It was rebuilt as a line car in 1922 and renumbered 1702 in August 1925. It was purchased by Illinois Electric Ry Museum on October 11, 1958.
021 was built at Decatur in 1918 as 1576, Class B, and was rebuilt as snow plow 021 on December 9, 1955. It was sold for scrap to Clerman on September 15, 1959.
049 was built by American Car & Foundry in 1910, #5575, as "Peoria", a sleeping car. It was given the number 504 in 1937 and was converted to a bunk car on December 16, 1949. It was purchased by Terry Cassidy and me on August 16, 1960, and stored at East Peoria until we sold it to Bob Johnston in 1965 just before my move to Texas. It was then moved to IRM where the exterior was restored.
0100 was built by St Louis Car Co in 1911, #884, as 518, a trailer. It was rebuilt as 0100, instruction car, and sold as Illini Railroad Club 518 on June 29, 1960. It was sold to IRM in 1968.
