Electro-Motive F Units

 

123-A, FP7A, was built in February 1952, #14809, FN 6318-A5.  It was renumbered 80-A in 1958 and traded in to Electro-Motive in May 1976.

201-C, F3A, was built in June 1947, #4032, FN E749-A8.  It was renumbered 64-C in 1958 and sold to Precision National Corp.  It was sold as Chicago & North Western 249 in December 1971 and retired on May 24, 1974.  Dispostion is unknown.

202-C, F3A, was built in June 1947, #4033, FN E749-A9.  It was renumbered 65-C in 1968 and sold to Precision National Corp.  It was sold as C&NW 257 in March 1972 and retired on April 27, 1976.

203-C, F3A, was built in June 1947, #4034, FN E749-A10. It was renumbered 66-C in 1958 and rebuilt in April 1975 as a 2000 HP B unit and renumbered 399-B. It was later renumbered 401-B and donated to the railroad museum at Denison, TX, when it was retired.

205-B, F3B, was built in June 1947, #4043, FN E749-B5.  It was renumbered 64-G in 1958 at traded in to Electro-Motive in 1969,

206-A, F3A, was built in June 1947, #4030, FN E749-A6.  It was renumbered 69-A in 1958 and sold to Precision National Corp on October 28, 1970.  It was sold as C&NW 256 in January 1972 and traded in to Electro-Motive in January 1976.

210-A, F7A, was built in June 1949, #7381, FN E1050-A5.  It was renumbered 73-A in 1958 and traded in to Electro-Motive in 1969.  It was sold in 1970 as Precision Engineering Co 73-A but the lettering was not changed.

227-A, F7A, was built in June 1949, #7391, FN E1041-A3. It was renumbered 76-A in 1958 and sold to PECo on December 20, 1970. It was sold as C&NW 251 in January 1972. It was retired on June 3, 1976, and resold to Precision National where it was scrapped.

229-C, F7A, was built in June 1949, #7396, FN E1051-A8.  It was renumbered 77-C in 1958 and traded in to Electro-Motive in 1969.  It was sold in 1970 to PECo and sold as C&NW 247 in December 1971.  It was retired on December 1, 1975, and traded in to Electro-Motive in 1975.
