240 was built in December 1951, #15568, FN 3088-A1, as Florida East Coast 571. It was sold to Precision National in 1970 and then to C&NW as 240 in April 1971. It was retired April 12, 1976. and returned to Precision National, where it was scrapped.
241 was built in December 1951, #15569, FN 3088-A2, as FEC 572. It was sold to Precision National in 1970 and then to C&NW as 241 in April 1971. It was retired June 3, 1976, and returned to Precision National, where it was scrapped.
242 was built in December 1951, #15570, FN 3088-A3, as FEC 573. It was sold to Precision National in 1970 and then to C&NW as 242 in February 1971. It was retired April 12, 1976, and returned to Precision National, where it was scrapped.
243 was built in December 1951, #15571, FN 3088-A4, as FEC 574. It was sold to Precision National in 1970 and then to C&NW as 243 in March 1971. It was retired October 16, 1974, and traded in to Electro-Motive in 1975.
