853, PA1, Class PA-20, was built in April 1949, #76911, as Erie RR 853, Class PA-20.  It became EL 853, Class PA-20, in 1960 and traded to Electro-Motive in 1969.

863, PA2, Class PA-22, was built in April 1951, #78733, as Erie 863, Class PA-22.  It became EL 863, Class PA-22, in 1960 and traded in to Electro-Motive in May 1963.
