2299 was built by St. Louis Car in January, 1945, as Pittsburgh Rys. 1547. It was diverted to Twin City Rapid Transit and entered service on February 23, 1945, as TCRT 299. In August, 1953, it was sold to STE.  It was repainted and shipped as 2299 in 1954.

2300 was built by St Louis Car Co in December 1946, #1653, as TCRT 300.  In August 1953 it was sold as STE 2300 and was added two doors to the left side.

2435 was built by St Louis Car in July 1949, #1670, as TCRT 435.  It was sold to STE in 1953 as 2435 and was added two doors to the left side.

2436 was built by St Louis Car in July 1949, #1670, as TCRT 436.  It was sold to STE in 1953 as 2436 and was added two doors to the left side.

2437 was built by St Louis Car in July 1949, #1670, as TCRT 437.  It was sold to STE in 1953 as 2437 and was added two doors to the left side.

2438 was built by St Louis Car in July 1949, #1670, as TCRT 438.  It was sold to STE in 1953 as 2438 and was added two doors to the left side.

2439 was built by St Louis Car in July 1949, #1670, as TCRT 439,  It was sold to STE in 1953 as 2439 and was added two doors to the left side.
