Racine - Kenosha Line

Trains started at the Public Service Building.

Street trackage went to right-of-way near Howell, Whitnall, and Ohio.

Belt Line Junction was the place where the M-R-K crossed and paralleled the Lakeside Belt Line for a short distance before turning south.

The line covered farm land.

The line crossed over the Chicago & North Western "New Line" and later followed along the line.  It was close to Layton Ave.

There was a passing siding just north of Rawson Road in Cudahy.

Oak Creek has a small trestle north of Forest Hill Rd.

There was a heavy bridge across the C&NW main line.  It was designed for double track but never done.  The bridge was just south of the trestle over Ryan Rd.

The Racine car station was at the north end where the line entered the street tracks.

 

Kenosha had a station built in 1931,
