Series X Derricks
X1, derrick, was built by Chicago Rys in 1909 as CRys 57. It was rebuilt in 1910 and renumbered X1 in 1913. It became CSL X1 in 1914 and retired on March 11, 1959..
X2, derrick, was built by St Louis Car Co in 1906 as Chicago Union Traction 4634. It was renumbered 1405 in 1913 and became CSL 1405 in 1914. It was rebuilt as X2 in 1917 and retired on December 27, 1955.
X3, derrick, was built by Chicago Rys in 1909. It was renumbered W16 in 1913 and became CSL W16 in 1914. It was rebuilt as X3 in 1928 and retired on April 10, 1959.
X4, derrick, was built by McGuire-Cummings in 1910 as CRys 2. It was renumbered N2 in 1913 and became CSL N2 in 1914. It was rebuilt as X4 in 1947 and rebuilt as S344 in 1958. It was sold to Electric Railway Historical Society in 1963 and donated to Illinois Railway Museum in 1973.
X201, derrick, was built by Chicago City Ry in 1907 as C22. It was renumbered X201 in 1913 and became CSL X201 in 1914. It was retired on March 30, 1959.
