R1, sand car, was rebuilt by Chicago Rys in 1913 as M1. It came from 5570, passenger car. It was renumbered R1 in 1913 and became CSL R1 in 1914. It was retired on January 17, 1941.
R2, sand car, was rebuilt by Chicago Rys in 1913 as M2. It came from 5525, passenger car. It was renumbered R2 in 1913 and became CSL R2 in 1914. It was retired on January 17, 1941.
R3, sand car, was rebuilt by Chicago Rys in 1913 as M3. It came from 5577, passenger car. It was renumbered R3 in 1913 and became CSL R3 in 1914. It was retired in 1942.
