L Series Locomotives
L1, locomotive, was built as Chicago Street RR cable grip car 287. It was rebuilt by Chicago Union Traction Co 1 in 1908 and renumbered L1 in 1913. It became CSL L1 in 1914 and retired on June 18, 1953.
L2, locomotive was built by W&F in 1895 as CUT 7. It was renumbered L2 in 1913 and became CSL L2 in 1914.
L201, locomotive, was built by Chicago City Ry in 1909 as CCRy C49. It was renumbered L201 in 1913 and became CSL L201 in 1914. It was retired on October 2, 1961.
L202, locomotive, was built by Chicago City Ry in 1909 as CCRy C50. It was renumbered L202 in 1913 and became CSL L202 in 1914. It was rebuilt as S343 on June 9, 1958, and acquired by Railway Equipment Leasing & Investment Co in 1979. It was acquired by Fox River Trolley Museum in 1983 and restored as L202.
L203, locomotive, was rebuilt from a passenger car in 1901 as CCRy C54. It was renumbered L203 in 1913 and became CSL L203 in 1914. It was retired on May 20, 1959.
L204, locomotive,was built by Chicago City Ry in 1903 as CCRy C35. It was renumbered L204 in 1913 and became CSL CL203 in 1914. It was retired on July 2, 1948.
L205, locomotive,was built by Chicago City Ry in 1903 as CCRy C36. It was renumbered L205 in 1913 and became CSL CL205 in 1914. It was retired in 1917.
