ex Kansas City St.Louis Car Co PCCs

 

2251 was built by St Louis Car Co in 1946, #1650, as Kansas City Public Service Co 787.  It was sold to Philadelphia in December 1954 and rebuilt as PTC 2251 "Pennsylvania" in February 1955.  It was scrapped in March 1982.

2252 was built by St Louis Car Co in 1946, #1650, as KCPS 728.  It was sold to Philadelphia in December 1954 and rebuilt as PTC 2252 "Delaware" in March 1955.  It was scrapped in December 1982.

2258 was built by St Louis Car Co in 1946, #1650, as KCPS 761.  It was sold to Philadelphia in December 1954 and rebuilt as PTC 2258 "Delaware" in April 1955.  It was apparently both cars had the same name.  It was sold to Vintage Electric Streetcar Co in November 1985. 

2259 was built by St Louis Car Co in 1946, #1650, as KCPS 797.  It was sold to Philadelphia in December 1954 and rebuilt as PTC 2259 "Virginia" in April 1955.  It was sold to Vintage Electric Streetcar Co in November 1985. 

2261 was built by St Louis Car Co in 1946, #1650, as KCPS 786.  It was sold to Philadelphia in December 1954 and rebuilt as PTC 2261 "Virginia" in April 1955.  It was apparently both cars had the same name.  It was sold to Vintage Electric Streetcar Co in November 1985. 

2266 was built by St Louis Car Co in 1946, #1650, as KCPS 758.  It was sold to Philadelphia in December 1954 and rebuilt as PTC 2266 "North Carolina" in May 1955.  It was scrapped in December 1982.

2267 was built by St Louis Car Co in 1946, #1650, as KCPS 755.  It was sold to Philadelphia in December 1954 and rebuilt as PTC 2267 "South Carolina" in May 1955.  It was sold to Illinois Railway Museum in December 1985 and restored as KCPS 755..
