4000, Class MC-1, was built by Baldwin in April 1909, #33340. It was rebuilt as Class MC-2 in June 1923 and rebuilt as Class AC-1 at Sacramento on June 4, 1931. It was retired on May 10, 1948, and scrapped at Brooklyn on April 2, 1948.
