8143 was built in May 1962, #34256, as Wabash 502, Class D-25. It became N&W 3520 in 1965 and renumbered 8143 in 1970.
8146 was built in August 1962, #34520, as Wab 507, Class D-25. It became N&W 3523 in 1965 and was renumbered 8146 in
1970. In June 1980 it was rebuilt by Southeast Specialties as slug S-1 for the
Georgetown RR.
