Don's Rail Photos
Colorado Midland Ry.
Midland Terminal Ry.
The CM was one of the fabled railroads which never quite got to where it was intended. What was left in 1922 became part of the Midland Terminal which got its start in 1892. The MT was owned by the Cripple Creek Central Ry. It was operated by the Cripple Creek & Colorado Springs from 1917 until 1919. In 1921, the MT purchased what was left of the CC&CS, about 5 miles, and also bought what was left of the CM, Colorado Springs to Divide. Shortly after the WWII, the MT finally called it quits, but it is not forgotten. Here are photos of some of the equipment of these companies.

Save me, O God, by Thy name and in Thy strength deliver me: O God, hear my prayer; give ear to the words of my mouth.
