740 was built by Alco-Schenectady in 1919, #61094, as Norfolk & Western 2026, Class Y-3. It was sold as Atchison Topeka & Santa Fe 1793, Class 1790, in 1945 and later sold to Vgn as 740 on February 15, 1948.

741 was built by Alco-Schenectady in 1919, #61097, as N&W 2029, Class Y-3. It was sold as AT&SF 1795 in 1945 and sold to Vgn as 741 on February 15, 1948.

903, Class AG, was built by Lima in 1945.
