Electro-Motive Passenger Diesels

54-C, E8A, was built in May 1951, #14284, FN 6268-A2, as 132.  It was rebuilt by Electro-Motive in November 1957 and renumbered 54-C in 1958.  It was sold to Preicision Engineering Co in 1966 and sold as Atlantic Coast Line 554 in 1966 and became Seaboard Coast Line 585 in July 1967.  It was sold as National Railway Passenger Corp 243 in July 1972 and retired on June 20, 1974.

55-A, E8A, was built in May 1951, #14285, FN 6268-A3, as 133.  It was renumbered 55-A in 1958 and sold to Precision Engineering Co in 1966.  It was scrapped.

55-C, E8A, was built in May 1951, #14286, FN 6268-A4, as 134.  It was renumbered 55-C, in 1958 and sold to Precision Engineering Co in 1966.  It was sold as ACL 555 in 1966 and became SCL 586 in July 1967.  It was sold as Amtrak 244 in July 1972 and retired on March 14, 1974.

56-A, E8A. was built in May 1951, #14287, FN 6268-A5, as 135.  It was renumbered 56-A in 1958 and sold to Precision Engineering Co in 1966.  It was sold as ACL 556 in 1966 and became SCL 587 in July 1967.  It was sold as Amtrak 245 in July 1972 and retired on May 22, 1974.  It was sold for scrap in September 1975 to Naporano Iron & Metal.
