565 was built by Alco-Schenectady in September 1908, #45528. It was sold in 1936 as Dansville & Mount Morris 565. It was retired in 1961 and sold as Black River & Western 565. It was then sold through several individuals from 1968 through 1985 and ended at the Steamtown Foundation.
