Electro-Motive GP50 Diesels

5051 was built in May 1980, #786257-2, FN 786257-2.  It was wrecked in 1987 and retired on June 16, 1987.  It was sold to National Railway Equipment Co in February 1990 and rebuilt as Illinois Central 3140, GP40-2, in 1991.

5052 was built in May 1980, #786257-3, FN 786257-3.  It was assigned as Union Pacific 901, Class GP50, in June 1995 and reassigned as 5511 in June 1996.  It became 1611 on April 1, 2002, and retired on November 30, 2002.  It was sold as First Union Rail 2903 and sold as Fort Worth & Western 2012 "Chaparral" in August 2006.

5054 was built in May 1980, #786257-5, FN 786257-5.  It was assigned as UP 903, Class GP 50, and became UP 5513 on August 15, 1996.  It was retired on September 30, 2002.

5055 was built in May 1980, #786257-6, FN 786257-7.  It became UP 904. Class GP50, on June 23, 1995, and renumbered 5514 on June 19, 1997.  It was retired on November 30, 2002 and sold as FURX 2905.  It was resold as Constellation Brands 5100.

5056 was built in May 1980, #786257-7, FN 786257-7.  It became UP 933, Class GP50, on November 27, 1995, and renumbered 5542 on June 26, 1996.  It was renumbered 1642 on May 21, 2002, and retired on September 30, 2002.  It was sold as FURX 2906 and sold as National Railway Equipment Co 2906.

5057 was built in May 1980, #786257-8, FN 786257-8.  It was became UP 5543, Class GP50, on March 17, 1997, and retired on November 30, 2002.  It was sold as FURX 2907 and sold as WATCo 5001.

5058 was built in May 1980, #286257-9, FN 286357-9.  It became UP 905, Class GP50, on May 7, 1996, and renumbered 5515 on June 24, 1997.  It was assigned 1615 in December 1999 and retired on November 26, 2002.  It was sold as FURX 2908.

5059 was built in May 1980, #786257-10, FN 786257-10.  It was assigned UP 905, Class GP50, in June 1995 but became UP 5516 on June 25, 1997.  It was retired on November 30, 2002.  It was sold as FURX 2909 and sold as WATCo 5002.

5060 was built in May 1980, #786257-11, FN 786257-11. It was assigned UP 907, Class GP50,  in June 1995 and became 5517 on August 6, 1996. It was assigned 1617 in December 1999 and retired as 5517 on November 26, 2002.  It was sold as FURX 2910 and sold as Nebraska Kansas & Colorado RR 5101.

5061 was built in May 1980, #786257-12, FN 786257-12.  It was assigned UP 908, Class GP50, in June 1995 and became 5518 on July 23, 1996.  It was retired on November 30, 2002, and sold as FURX 2911.  It was sold as NREX 2911 and sold as Minera Carbonifera Rio Escondido SA de CV 2911.

5062 was built in May 1980, #786257-13, FN 786257-13.  It became UP 909, Class GP50, on April 9, 1996, and renumbered 5519 on June 24, 1997.  It was retired on November 26, 2002, and sold as FURX 2912.  It was sold as WATCo 5003.

5065 was built in June 1980, #786257-16, FN 786257-16.  It was planned as UP 912 but it became UP 5522, Class GP50, on September 9, 1997.  It was planned as 1622 but retired on November 30, 2002.  It was sold as FURX 2937 and resold as NREX 2937,    It sold to CCKX, Inc as FMIX 37.

5066 was built in June 1980, #786257-17, FN 786257-17.  It became UP 939 on October 3, 1995, and renumbered 5548 on May 22, 1997.  It was renumbered 1648 on January 30, 2002,  It was renumbered September 30, 2002, and sold as FURX 2916.  It was sold as WATCo 5004.

5067 was built in June 1980, #786257-18, FN 786257-18.  It became UP 913, Class GP50, on April 17, 1996, and assigned 5523 but retired on November 30, 2002.  It was sold as FURX 2917 and sold as WATCo 5005.

5068 was built in June 1980, #786257-19, FN 786257-19.  It became UP 5524, Class GP50, on June 25, 1997, and retired on September 30, 2002.  It was sold as FURX 2918 and sold as WATCo 5006.

5071 was built in July 1980, #786257-22, FN 786357-22.  It became UP 5550, Class GP50, on August 27, 1996, and retired on September 30, 2002.  It was sold as FURX 2921 and sold as WATCo 5007.

5072 was built in July 1980, #786257-23, FN 786257-23.  It became UP 916, Class GP50, on May 23, 1996, and renumbered 5526 on November 10, 1997.  It was sold as FURX 2922 and sold as WATCo 5008.

5073 was built in July 1980, #786257-24, FN 786257-24.  It became UP 917, Class GP50, on March 8, 1996, and renumbered 5527 on July 1, 1997.  It was renumbered 1627 on December 11, 2001, and retired on November 30, 2002. It was sold to National Railway Equipment Co and rebuilt as Jamaica Alumina Co 1023, a GP38-3.  It was not shipped and offered for sale in 2010.

5074 was built in July 1980, #786257-25, FN 786257-25.  It was assigned UP 918, Class GP50, in June 1995, and became 5528 on February 10, 1997.  It was renumbered 1628 on May 28, 2002, and retired on September 30, 2002.  It was sold as FURX 2924 and sold as NREX 2924.  It was rebuilt as Burlington Northern Santa Fe 3208, Class GP25, in 2016.

5075 was built in July 1980, #786257-26, FN 786257-26.  It was assigned UP 919, Class GP50, in June 1995 and became 5529 on July 19, 1998.  It was reassigned  as 1629 but retired on November 27, 2002.  It was sold as FURX 2925 and sold to NRE.  It was sold as Fort Worth & Western 1st 2009 "Chisholm Trail" in 2005 and leased to Rail Logix in 2009.  It was returned as NREX 3333 in December 2010.

5076 was built in July 1980, #786257-27, FN 786257-27.  It was assigned UP 942, Class GP50, in June 1995 and became 5551 on October 10, 1996.  It was retired on November 30, 2002. It was sold to NRE and rebuilt as JACo 1025, a GP38-3.  It was not shipped but offered for sale in 2010.

5079 was built in July 1980, #786257-30, FN 786257-30.  It became UP 921 on June 11, 1996, and renumbered 5531 on July 1, 1997.  It was retired on November 30, 2002.

5080 was built in July 1980, #786257-31, FN 786257-31.  It became UP 923 on April 4, 1996, and renumbered 5532 on July 9, 1997.  It was renumbered 1632 on January 28, 2002, and retired on September 30, 2002.  It was sold as FURX 2930 and sold as WATCo 5009.

5081 was built in July 1980, #786257-32, FN 786257-32.  It was assigned as UP 935 and became UP 5544 on March 6, 1997.  It was assigned as 1644 but retired on November 30, 2002.  It was sold as FURX 2931 and sold as FWWR 2008 "Panther City".

5082 was built in July 1980, #786257-33, FN 786257-33.  It was assigned UP 922 in June 1995.  It became UP 5545 on January 30, 1997, and retired on November 30, 2002.  It was sold to NRE and rebuilt as JACo 1020, a GP38-3.  It was not shipped but offered for sale in 2010.

5086 was built in July 1980, #786257-37, FN 786257-37.  It was assigned UP 926 in June 1995.  It became UP 5535 on August 5, 1996, and retired on November 26, 2002.  It was sold to NRE and rebuilt as JACo 1024, a GP38-3.  It was not shipped but offered for sale in 2010.

5088 was built in July 1980, #786257-39, FN 786257-39.  It became UP 5554 on October 21, 1996, and retired on November 26, 2002.  It was sold as FURX 2938 and sold as WATCo 5010.

5089 was built in July 1980, #786257-40, FN 786257-40.  It was assigned as UP 938 in June 1995 and became UP 5547 on August 19, 1997.  It was retired on November 26, 2002, and sold as FURX 2939.  It was sold as NRE 2939 and sold as FWWR 2011 "Miss Etta" in August 2006.

5092 was built in August 1980, #786257-43, FN 786257-43.  It became UP 5537 on September 6, 1996, and retired on November 30, 2002.  It was sold as FURX 2942 and sold as WATCo 5011.

5093 was built in September 1980, #786257-44. FN 786257-44.  It was assigned UP 929 in June 1995 and became 5538 on July 17, 1997.  It was retired on November 26, 2002.

5095 was built in September 1980, #786257-46.  It became UP 931 on October 9, 1995, and renumbered 5540 on August 21, 1997.  It was retired on November 30, 2002, and sold as FURX 2945.  It was sold as WATCo 5012.

5097 was built in September 1980, #786257-48.  It was assigned UP 933 in June 1995,  It became 5556 on June 25, 1997, and retired on November 26, 2002.  It was sold to NRE and rebuilt as JACo  1026, a GP38-3.  It was not shipped but offered for sale in 2010.

5099 was built in September 1980, #786257-50.  It became UP 5557 on November 16, 1996, and retired on November 30, 2002.  It was sold as FURX 2949 and sold as WATCo 5013.
