5051 was built in May 1980, #786257-2, FN 786257-2. It was wrecked in 1987 and retired on June 16, 1987. It was sold to National Railway Equipment Co in February 1990 and rebuilt as Illinois Central 3140, GP40-2, in 1991.
5052 was built in May 1980, #786257-3, FN 786257-3. It was assigned as Union Pacific 901, Class GP50, in June 1995 and reassigned as 5511 in June 1996. It became 1611 on April 1, 2002, and retired on November 30, 2002. It was sold as First Union Rail 2903 and sold as Fort Worth & Western 2012 "Chaparral" in August 2006.
5054 was built in May 1980, #786257-5, FN 786257-5. It was assigned as UP 903, Class GP 50, and became UP 5513 on August 15, 1996. It was retired on September 30, 2002.
