South African Tramways
Johannesburg Tramways
60 was one of the batch 41-80 produced by UEC in England in 1906. The cars were assembled later in the year by Johannesburg Tramways workshops. The car at Crich is in the 'rebuilt' form (1931) with five sliding windows on the top deck and five windows with fan lights in the lower saloon (the cars were originally fitted with six windows on the upper deck and three on the lower). It is now at the Crich, England, Museum
213.

Don's Depot There is a state of resting in God, and absolute break from
all intellectual activity, when one forms no plans, makes no decisions and
for the time really ceases to act, when one simply hands over the future of
God's will and "surrenders himself to fate". --St. Benedicta of the Cross (Edith Stein)
