North American Car Company
This car leasing company was taken over by General Electric Railcar in 1984.
The Chicago & North Western set up the Northwestern Refrigerator Line to handle their refrigerator car service in 1924. In 1946 it was purchased by North American Car which added their own logo, retaining the NWX reporting marks.
53140 was formerly Milwaukee Road.
