D Series Utility Cars

D2 was built at Cold Spring in 1905 as a double cab utility motor.  It was rebuilt as a "winger" and scrapped on February 17, 1959.

D4 was built at Cold Spring in 1905 as a doule cab utility motor.  It was rebuilt to work with a winger and scrapped on February 17, 1959.

D7 was built at Cold Spring in 1907 as a cab motor derrick. It was rebuilt in 1923 as a "winger" and was later assigned to Lakeside Power Plant. It was acquired by the Wisconsin Electric Railway Historical Society in 1972 and apparently has been scrapped for parts.

D9 was built at Cold Spring in 1907.  It was rebuilt as E58 in 1923 and transferred as WEPCo F2.  It was acquired by WERHS in 1972 and was sold to Illinois Railway Museum in 1989.

D13 was built by Dufferential Steel Car Co in 1920.  It was sold to Municipality of East Troy in 1949 and was sold to WERHS in 1982.  It was sold to Illinois Railway Museum in 1989.

D15 was built by Differential Steel Car Co in 1921 as F208. It was later motorized as D15. It was acquired by the WERHS in 1972 and then went to IRM in 1989.  It was restored as F208.

D16 was built by Industrial Brownhoist in 1923. It was later acquired by WERHS in 1972 and went to IRM in 1989.

D17  was built at Cold Spring by TMER&L and American Ditcher in 1929.  It became KMCL D17 in May 1950 and scrapped in 1952.

D21, line car, was built at Cold Spring in 1907 and was rebuilt by 1910 for interurban service. It was modernized in 1929. On October 15, 1944 it was sold to KMCL as D21.  It was found that this car was being used at the Port Washington Power Plant.  Since they also found out that another D23 was on the line after rebuilding J6, this car became TMER&T D3.  It was sold to WERHS  in 1972 as D23 and then was sold to East Troy Electric Ry as D23 in 1989.

D22, line car, was built at Cold Spring in 1907 and was later rebuilt for interurban service. It was again rebuilt in 1927 and assigned to Lakeside Power Plant. It was acquired by WERHS in 1972 and then went to IRM in 1989

D23 was built at Cold Spring in 1907.  It was rebuilt in 1928 and became KMCL D21 when the error was found.  It was scrapped in 1952.

D26 was built at Cold Spring in 1913.  It became KMCL D26 in 1946 and scrapped in 1952.

D27 was built at Cold Spring in 1913.  It was rebuilt as L8 in 1935 and acquired by WERHS in 1977.  It was taken by East Troy Electric Ry L8 and restored.

D28 was built by Differential Steel Car Co in 1920.  It was used for the Schuster Christmas Parade most of the trips.  It was scrapped in August 1957.
