401 was built by Pullman in November 1928, Order #6145, and powered by Electro-Motive, #302. It was converted from a combine in 1930 to mail and baggage, and transferred to the Fort Worth & Denver in February 1943 to repair their car M-20, which had been wrecked in November 1942. M-20 was sold for scrap in August 1950.
402 was built by Pullman in June 1929, Order #6239, and powered by Electro-Motive, #368. It was retired in September 1945.
500 was built by Atlantic & Western-Edwards in 1922 as Chicago Burlington & Quincy 500. It was transferred to C&S as 500 in March 1926 and sold in September 1929.
